Man's dilemma

It is just a tiny bit R rated but I saw this photo with the caption: Man's Dilemma.

Does this photo capture the true spirit of man's dilemma? If so, what is the equally profound woman's dilemma

And to think all along I thought man's dilemma was: Oh ____ _____, what shall I do if she never stops talking.

TOO funny!

I especially like the add on signs...

One Way

And

No parking

Ellie said...

I'm not sure what the equivalent would be... But that's definitely photoworthy and not at all r rated!

It might me Use Him or Lose Him.

I think I've been to Bangher. Incidentally.

My current dilemma. Fruit or cake? I'm going to go with cake. So not really a man's dilemma at all.

Hilarious! I'm so behind on your blog...I haven't had time to read any since having the baby last month. I'm hoping to catch up today and this was a great start to my morning!

Brian Miller said...

nope. earplugs solve that one...not that i would know. smiles.

Slamdunk said...

Great image. I wonder how often those two signs are stolen. Even the "no parking" sign fits well with the debate.

Will Burke said...

That's the man's delemma when hes young, but most of us grow up, and get fresh ones: salt-free bacon or just hang yourself.

Anonymous said...

Excellent! I agree with Secretia's suggestion - Usehim or Losehim - but it could also perhaps be as simple as, Banghim or Leevim?

Unknown said...

Hmmm a woman's equivalent???
well now great I am completely wihtout a comebck dagnabbit it is not gonna be a good day

MommaKiss said...

Reminds me of the t-shirt with Liquor in Front, Poker in Rear (for a bar or some such establishment).

heh.

Everything about that post is hilarious.

The woman's dilemma? Let's see?

Where to hide the body?

Life insurance or alimony?

Love Colleen's take! Great photo. You know that's what men are thinking too.

Anonymous said...

Oh that is excellent! :o)

OMG, that's....HYSTERICAL!!! Thanks for the morning laugh!

Mrs. M said...

I think men have a lot of dilemma's! Women: "Should I get those shoes in black or red......both? Why not?!". :)

Lee said...

That's hysterical. Wonder how many people have tried to steal that sign....

Stephanie Hartman said...

That is halarious...

Jen said...

LOL!

Best street signs ever.

Ed said...

Essentially, the dilemma you proposed is a multiple choice question answered by the dilemma in the photo.

Women's only dilemma is Chocolate or Sex.

That is brilliant!

I'm thinking that a lot of men (not me of course) would not consider this a dilemma...but rather a sequence of events. :)

Woman's dilemma: Red or White?

first of all.......LOVE the sign!
(sadly...so true...)

Woman's equivalent?
I would say....
SATC v. Married w children! LOL

Bossy Betty said...

I think this just about sums it up!

Leiah said...

Love it! Apparently their dilemmas just go on and on and on because I read somewhere this morning (Twitter maybe?)that it's ironic men think Barbie has the ideal body considering the fact that she doesn't have a vagina.

Unknown said...

Women's dilemma isn't chocolate or sex. There's now dilemma at all...You KNOW the chocolate's gonna' be good. You can't always be sure about the sex!

OMG this is hilarious!!

Yep, that's about as deep as most of them go!

I just LOVE how your mind works!!!

Jeney Peney said...

I once read somewhere that "Any woman who thinks the way to a man's heart is through his stomach is aiming about ten inches too high."

I think that might be the core of woman's dilemma. :-)

Mrs. Micek said...

Oh my goodness! That's so stinkin funny! :)

No way! Is this for real? LLOL

And I think Colleen hit the nail on the head :-)

I still live by the words of Ally Sheedy and Mare Winningham...

"Men, you can't live with them...you can't shoot 'em."

foxy said...

Woman's dilemma is more like, the shoes or the purse? Oh, screw it... I'll take both!

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the chuckle.

Busy Bee Suz said...

That is so funny.
I think some guys will do both...bangher then leever.

My husband told me that they named streets after me as well:
ONE WAY!!
I don't see a problem with that at all.

kathryn said...

My take on the woman's dilemma would be:

I'm done trying to help him. Let the high cholesterol kill him
or
If he blows his nose at the dinner table one more time, I'll PERSONALLY order the hit.

(Gee...I guess these are kinda long for street signs, ya think?!)

Loving the No Parking sign underneath w/the icon of the broom...for the poor city-paid schmuck who has to clean up the emotional wreckage left behind once the decision's made...

Christopher said...

Ha, thats classic. Usually we walk down Bangher ave at night and then try to sneak down leever st in the morning.

Ashley Stone said...

haha, funny

Mercy Langille said...

That was funny! I always say that men have two heads but can only think with one at a time. That is why they get stuck in these kinds of dilemas.

Grand Pooba said...

Hahaha! I love it.

A woman's dilemma? What are you talking about, we don't have dilemmas! We always know exactly what we want! LOL ;o)

I was going to comment, but now I am off for a tissue, to clean up the coffee I just spit on my computer screen and keyboard. I love you, this is fabulous dahling!
I think the most important question for us women, is ready, ready,
Does he pick his own underwear up out of the floor?

Anonymous said...

Love the two signs in juxtaposition. So funny. I can't beat that one.

Ellen said...

LOL this is kind of awesome! The women's dilemma...at least for 20-something women is finding a man who is READY for commitment! I actually wrote about a man's dilemma on my blog today: Dudes who want to date the female version of themselves! It doesn't exist, dude!

LMAO! Totally reminds me of these two towns in PA, one's called Intercourse and the next town over is Pleasure. What makes this even funnier is that they are both located in the Amish country!

Life offers man many dilemmas...it is up to him to use his skills to deduce the best way to proceed and deal with the consequences.

Or he might end up at the corner of Alimony Dr. and Nursery Rd.

Salt said...

HA!!! As blinded by newlywedded bliss as I am, this is still hilarious. I am with you on the last bit. Actually I think my husband has perfected the art of tuning me out.

Simply Suthern said...

I dare say there are a lot of wrecks at this intersection, literally and figuratively.

I love this photo! We've all been there, right? The comparable woman's dilemma? I think it would be Dine Out or Room Service.

Murr Brewster said...

Doesn't sound like a dilemma at all; it's just a matter of putting things in order. A dilemma is something you can get caught on the horns of. Which is a whole 'nother problem.
