Grip and stroke

It is going to be a gorgeous day in Georgia. Shall I work? No. Shall I clean the house? No. Shall I don my sundress, sunhat, and accompany my husband on a car ride? Yes. We are taking the day off after a rather hectic quarter end and going to spend the day lolling around the greens at Augusta National Golf Club watching this:

For you golf aficianodos, you know this is one of the four majors and the only time of year I am allowed to step foot in the place. Those old Southern gentlemen running the place certainly like their rules. No cell phones allowed on property. Period. And pimiento cheese sandwiches by the truckload. But it is going to be amazing. And getting tickets, well, it would be easier to plan to see a unicorn. As luck would have it, we are in.

Have a gorgeous day! I know we will.

It will be lovely day here in GA. Although it is a tad cloudy here this morning and 30% chance of rain. Hope it stays nice for your lolling around! I wonder if the azaleas will be in bloom...being we had such an early spring.

You are one of the few visitors I don't mind being here! Ironically, the food/beverages inside the gates are not overpriced. The merch, BAHAHA. That's where the $$$ is at, but you've got to come away with your golf shirt!

I hope you have a great day! And I know the course is beautiful, I have a few friends who work on the grounds crew year round.

Augusta is a great place and you have to love a city that closes its schools for spring break Masters week. My brother and family have rented their home and decamped to the beach. someday he's going to have to get tickets so that I can go once! Have a wonderful time.

Sounds like fun Jenny Mac. I did not see you make national news for violating any golf rules so I am thinking it was a good thing.

I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend.
