It is cold here in Atlanta. Cold weather makes it a perfect time of year to be indoors cooking and baking. A friend asked for easy appetizers and this one is quite possibly the easiest delicious app you can put together. I make it for Super Bowl parties so I am not limited to cheese dip and wings that day. From my kitchen to yours, enjoy every bite.
Fig and Goat Cheese Crostini:
Slice a baguette into thin pieces.
Spread each baguette slice with goat cheese.
Top with Fig Jam.
Bake for 6-8 minutes at 350 until edges of bread are crisp.
YUM.
You can also add a drizzle of honey before or after the oven step. Enjoy your weekend.

I love goat cheese anything, but it is particularly awesome with figs!
Well hey there! It's been a long time! I've been suffering from blog apathy, so I haven't been around much... trying to change that with the brand new year though.
These look fantastic! So simple, and yet so elegant. Going to try them next time we entertain. Or... you know... for lunch.
Hope you're doing well - nice to come across a post from you in my neglected reading list ;)
YUM!
My mouth is watering just looking at those...
