Stylin', profilin', growlin' and smilin'

Bags in the car, iPod packed, Blackberry in hand, I shower kisses over JohnnyMac and MiniMac.

Why? Because just like LL Cool J, I am going back to Cali.

I am flying here:

to spend the next five days with my little brother at his fabulous new place. I can't wait to see him and visit one of my top five favorite cities.

There will be a lot of this:and this:

As well as many minutes of this:

And five days of this:

OH, and we are also driving here:

MMMMMM. Tres bien. I can't wait to visit some of my favorite vineyards, and by all means, if you have some favorites too, share them with us. So in addition to wining, shopping, dancing, laughing, and Napa'ing, we will also be dining, socializing, and exercising (to make up for 1/2 of those other things.) And unlike LL Cool J., I like to add the letter "g" to my words.

Have a fabulous rest of your week. Don't forget about the beach bag giveaway. I will see you Monday.

  2. Oh, how I love Cali...have a wonderful trip. If you are shopping and buying something really indulgent, and feeling a bit guilty...just picture me on your shoulder shouting "Yes, you deserve it and it's AWESOME!" I'm your shopping support if you need it, is all I'm sayin'.
    Best,
    Tina

  9. San Francisco isn't my place of birth but it's my home. If you get a chance to check out Rombauer Winery - do so. They have great wine caves, and their dessert wine, which is called Joy and is only available at the winery itself, is well worth every penny.

    Jealous in Austin, TX.

  10. I had a ball in Sonoma. The best tour was Jordan. I am not sure they do tours publicly though. It was a tour for our group where we had food pairings. The wine we drank was superb! And Dry Creek allowed us to mix our own Hermitage type wine. And J gave us champagne and great food.

Enjoy. I ate and drank my way through the towns and came home smiling and with my pants unsnapped. :-) You can always diet later!!

  31. Ahhh, the best place on the planet. Both San Fran and the wine country.

Say hello to both of them for me. I'll be there in September.

St. Supery-Go. Go. Go. Try their Meritage and everything else.

Schramsberg Sparkling Wine has a great wine cave and a fabulous tour and their bubbly is like no other. Gotta make the phone call for the tour, but well worth it.

Charles Krug-The other brother of the royalty of Napa-Robert Mondavi. Their Generations wine is unbelievable.

I could keep going, but I'm sure you'll have many more fabulous suggestions. And I don't want to get you too drunk!

    Have so much fun!

  48. Ahhhh... SanFran. Love it. Cheers! Have an awesome time. (One funny side note about LL:

Hubby was at a trade show and LL performed. (Hubby loves LL). Hubby got to go backstage after the concert (he was v. excited). In photo capturing the moment when my wonderful, smart, lovably-geeky hubby met one very smokin' hot LL Cool J, my husband wore his sports coat and button down, his name badge AND his bright orange ear plugs. He loves LL, but didn't want to damage his ear drums during the concert. So cool. So hot. I laughed so hard when I saw that photo that I spit red wine out of my mouth.

    Safe travels.

  49. Now you're making me homesick. Have a great trip - and if you have time on your wine schedule, check out Truchard. They're by appointment only, but it's a wonderful small winery. Their wines are mmmmmMWAH. www.truchardvinyards.com
