Being thankful

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that
the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

John F. Kennedy

A little pic from the sandy beach of Cabo. To everyone celebrating Thanksgiving, where ever it finds you, and with old traditions or something that will begin as a tradition today,
I hope you have an amazing holiday. There is much to be thankful for...

  1. If today ends without used condoms being brought out for all to see, then I will consider it to be a success.

  8. The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on... So goes the famous quote, which may account for the fact that Blogger seemed not to accept my original comment...

(That's actually a line from You've Got Mail. But it's entirely appropriate here, don't you think?) :)

  21. A Thanksgiving Limerick, DC-style:

I just heard that two turkeys’ demise
Was avoided, to their great surprise.
    The big turkey in power,
    In the eleventh hour,
Gave them pardon, along with the pies.

Hope you and yours have the Happiest!
(And no, I did not write that limerick...but I did Google it!)

  33. I'm not liking the new tradition where I get the day off of work but still can't relax. Like maybe taking part of the day to read blogs. Nope, didn't happen. I just cooked from 8:30pm-12:30am Wednesday night, and from 5:30am-3:00pm Thursday.

But the food was awesome. I wish I could have stayed home today, but alas, I'm at work. At least it's not in retail. And it's quiet here; 7 of 84 in the building. NICE!

  36. Happy Thanksgiving. Our family is spending it in a cramped timeshare, but actually having a relaxing time. My brother's in England with wife and three kids. He misses Thanksgiving most about living in the states.

  41. Definately my day would have been better had I been on a beach somewhere. Though it was not bad and I did avoid the turkey.
But a beach makes everything better!
